We wholeheartedly thank the brothers and sisters who responded promptly to the drought relief project. By early May, Fountainhead has received over four hundred fifty thousand (HK$) offering. We will continue to monitor these projects and to give "water" to the minority groups whom we have known for more than 10 years. Let us continue to pray that when these people receive the gift from us they will give glory to our heavenly Father!

Please pray and support our new project: "Homes of Fountainhead" (12/2007)

In one of the minority autonomous regions, there was a religious cult using the mask of Christianity to bewilder and trice the people of a small town. The church at once strengthened their ministry by starting meeting points to help believers to stand firm in their faith and in truth. When the church made contact with those people they found many orphans in the area. These orphans were predominantly teenage girls and young children who were also neglected by their relatives. Fountainhead joined with the local church and would like to set up "Homes of Fountainhead" to share the love of Christ with these deserted teenagers. We hope that through our loving care these teenage and child orphans will come to understand the great love of God the Father and to experience again the love and care deserved by all humanity.

The Objective for these "Homes":
We want to care and nurture these orphans (starting with twelve youths) with the love of God. We will train and teach these kids in the Christian ways of faith, livelihood, morals, cultures, and in knowledge so that they may grow up to accept the love of Christ and will become first-rate citizens that love God, people, and the society.

"Homes of Fountainhead" is based mainly on the "home" idea. We will create a "homey" atmosphere with the appropriate setting, furniture, and decoration. These "Homes" will have full time trained staff and caring sister believers to holistically care for the orphans as their "mothers".

The Financial Needs:
Initial Set Up Fee (furniture, household needs, and renovation): ¥33,600
Monthly Needs:
Operation Fee (Rental and Staff "Mothers" salaries): ¥4,400
Teenage Orphans Monthly Expenses (12 orphans): ¥3,600
Total Need Per Month: ¥ 8,000
